Clinician-Educator Position in Laboratory Medicine - Yale University and VA Connecticut Healthcare

The Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine seeks a physician with broad Clinical Pathology expertise for a full-time ladder faculty position in the Department as a physician at both the Yale New Haven Hospital and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. The successful candidate would be expected to spend the majority of their time in clinical endeavors; educational and scholarly responsibilities are also an important part of the position. Interest in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine is especially sought but those with interests in all subdisciplines should consider applying. Candidates should be MDs or MD/PhDs who are Board certified/eligible in Clinical Pathology; formal subspecialty training in a laboratory medicine subdiscipline is especially welcome but is not required. Rank is dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications.
